I think Ian Mackaye is a bastard. He's so self-righteous, it's ridiculous. You've heard about the "icecream eating mother-fucker" incident, haven't you? It's just an example of how full of himself he is. I've met him a few times at The Black Cat in D.C and he was nice, but, I think some of the things he says and does are ridiculous.
I do like Fugazi's music, though.

i'm unaware of "the ice cream incident", i don't know too much about him, i know all of the bands he's been in, but i guess he was pretty hardlined back in the day and has become a lot more understanding since then, that's really all that i (think) i know. please tell me more about him though, i'd love to know more, good or bad.

I read some of your pieces, I'm sure pretty insignificant in the big picture. Anyways I know how you feel about your grandma. I'm living with mine at the moment. She drives everyone crazy, but I love her and I find that I always talk about her. She only speaks spanish but we manage to communicate.
I don't get it but it all makes so much sense.
