I'm happy right now. I just found out that I'm getting published. Granted, it's just in Inkwell, my university's literary magazine, but still. Three of my poems made it in. That made my day. I submitted to Spires, which is an intercollegiate litarary magazine, a while ago, but haven't heard back from them yet. Maybe I'll get in there too ( Read more... )

Oooh, I want a copy of the magazine! Lol. Congratulations on getting published, doll. I haven't read any FLB, but I must, sometime soon, after the 13th. And good on you for volunteering. ~ <33

i really liked Dangerous Angels, too, and I suggest reading I Was A Teenage Fairy as well, because she really is a great writer. the latter will probably be a little young for you (I read it in early high school), but i think you'll enjoy it nonetheless.

I love your hair, it's a great color. Beautiful, as usual. and congrats on being published!

I've read I Was A Teenage Fairy :D. The only FLB book I own is Dangerous Angels, but I've also read IWATF, Violet and Claire, and The Rose and The Beast. I want to get my hands on more of her books.

well three were published, actually. the two I can find in my LJ are "Jezebel, ii" and "Eutopia". They also decided to publish a poem called "Crash, girl, like a rocket" that's older and I didn't post in my lj. I'll copy/paste it into a comment in a few minutes for you.

reading your words gives me the inspiration to stop shaking blindly through the tangles of my life and to start grasping to that which makes beautiful sense.

thank you for making my day! i've learned a lesson: when you're overly consumed with your own life you can miss opportunities (like your poems!) that will teach you to grow.

i'm gonna do something great today and it'll be because of you. ;-)
