He glares out at their fat, drunken faces. His music is GOOD. Why don't they see it? Lou turns around and lifts his guitar off, muttering to himself angrily

"It didn't go too badly," Nico says, coming up behind Lou and stroking his back softly. "People didn't quite shout us off the stage, after all." She'd been afraid that might happen, though now it hadn't she could reassure with it. Or something. "We can go home now," she adds, softly. "If you want to..."

"I need a drink,"Lou mutters. "I gotta get plastered or something." He has to obliterate the memory of his failure quickly.

Lou doesn't see the two men who are making their way towards Lou and Nico.

"All right," she says. "Let's go to the bar, we can shock the patrons with public displays of affection once we've...loosened up..." she kisses his cheek gently as a start.
