[Tess is shopping in Thymops Town. Specifically, the Favorite Mementos shop. She's looking for something to use as projectiles and launch-worthy for weaponry once everyone gets back onto the ship.

She's been mostly unsuccessful. So lend her a hand, or just keep her company. Both would be appreciated.]

[Vincent is looking for boots. He doesn't seem to be having any more luck in his search than Tess. His frustration is almost palpable as he looks at a black pair of sandals that SHOULD fit, but certainly aren't what he's looking for.

He's just tired of getting pricked in the feet, really. And, like it or not, flying takes concentration. Doing it in the short bursts he has so far can be difficult enough, he can't even imagine doing it constantly until they're off the island.

He gives Tess a sideways glance, eying her ears for a split second as he looks her over.]

Fruitless endeavor.

[She doesn't look any more pleased than he is, so he might very well be talking about her.]
