Born on Larjin, in what passed for a large city there (would of course make NYC look like ... well, a country village).
She lives/travels with the Imperial Court, but isn't really part of it. The Emperor is Emperor Rumisa XIV. The ruler of the Spiral Arm, and it's the twenty-third year of Emperor Rumisa XIV's reign.
