Life goes. I'm TAing Chem 1b, the second term of freshman chemistry at Caltech. I know this stuff way less well than the first term stuff (right now we're going through , racing through, rather, thermo and some minor kinetics). I'm still trying to finish up my class from last term, adv. ligand field theory, and additionally trying to actually do

If I lived nearby I would totally go to your chem class. I need to learn chemistry. I seem to have failed at learning it before (except biochem).

But I was amused to be in Valencia discussing valence electrons. (The Spanish word for valence in the atomic context is valencia. And the French word for Valencia, Spain is Valence. )
