Reasonable weekend. Did some work. My sister recently got into the MSW program at CSU Northridge (go l'il sis!) so I went out with her for a bit to this whiskey bar in downtown LA, Seven Grand. It is, shockingly enough, near the intersection of 7th and Grand. It was a nice location, only somewhat spoiled by being a little overly full of LA

mmmmm, CSUN. Amusingly enough, my first-ever "college" class was at CSUN - Pascal.

My dad actually went there for college back when they were Valley State. He had to take one last class the summer after his four years, during which they changed the name to CSUN, so he likes to joke he got a degree from a school he never actually attended :)
