I'm very excited that the 6-part miniseries about the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, Desperate Romantics, will be coming out on DVD! Sadly BBC America won't air it -- but at least I'll be able to see it.
If the Pre-Raphaelites are indeed who I think they are; that is, Dante Gabriel Rosetti, Christina Rosetti, William Morris, and A.C. Swinburne, I think it would be a cool show.
Speaking of William Morris's crowd, A.S. Byatt has a new-ish novel out that draws heavily on the lives of Edith Nesbitt (of the childrens' books), Morris himself, D.G. Rosetti, et. al. It's called The Childrens Book. I recommend it.
I love shows coming out on DVD! Kensington Video carries a lot of new, critically acclaimed shows. I have been able to watch Nip/Tuck, Madmen, Weeds, and BG that way.
