Voyager and BSG

I'm a recent fan of the reimagined series of BSG and after watching the show from start to finish, I looked up more about its showrunner Ron Moore and was pleasantly surprised to learn that he was a writing partner of Brannon Braga at the start of Season 5 and quit within two months after they did not see eye to eye on the direction of Star Trek: ( Read more... )

gosh oh golly, imagine that. Imagine if we'd had a Voy Season 5 with half the punch that BSG had.

That would have been HEAVEN

Yep! Mind you, Ron Moore is infamous for killing characters (like Kirk in Generations). I'm not sure everyone would've loved what he would do. Still, I'm following the writer from now on. Other than JJ Abrams and Russell T. Davies, I'm not sure who else in the sci fi world I respect. Certainly not Joss Whedon. I tried to watch Outcasts, this BBC miniseries, because Bamber was in the first episode, but it dragged. The creator worked on your beloved "Spooks."
