Realization

I just realized that right now, its 1 o'clock, Saturday, the 24th. I am headed to Cirque orientation/training in another 12 hours, but more importantly, I'm seeing Varekai in 1 day. Meeting Kevin and Andrew in slightly more then 24 hours. I am nervous. My gifts looks a bit shabby. I shouldn't be nervous, but I am ( Read more... )

GET SOME SLEEP!

I will be with you in spirit! Which is to say, I am too cheap to go see the show in Boston, so I will watch the DVD. :P

Just remember to be yourself and have fun!

Hey, don't worry! You'll be fine! They will love you!!! I have faith in you Kim, you'll have an awesome time and everyone will appreciate the support and respect you give them! And don't worry about the gifts, they will love anything from a fan! Grr, I think I should go up there and take that Jamies' place! Hehe, I'd just have 2 scounge up a couple hundred dollars for the flight, find a place to stay for a month, find a reason to fire Jamie, and then disguise myself to look eighteen years old... Not too hard right?

Actually, I'm meeting Kevin and Andrew. This was arrange way before I even got the temp. job with Cirque, so I don't think they have any idea that I'm working there. I got Kevin and Andrew something small and quirky, because I'm not much for giving gifts that are mundane or usual. I went into Boston's Chinatown and got two wooden ninja charms. They're adorable, and are exactly alike except one's black, the other's red. In Chinese, the plaque overhead each one says, "Safe communtication!" which I'm hoping to find nice ways to explain to Kevin and Andrew if they ask what it means. I made orgami boxes to put them in, and am debating whether or not to include handmade cards. Cirque Orientation today lasts for a good 4 and something hours, 1:30-6 and if set-up day was any indication, I might come home tired. But a good tired nevertheless. :-D All the performers will be here today, might even have a dress rehershal that I hope all the temp. workers are invited to see. (fingers crossed!) If not, I have to wait till Sunday!

Yeah!!

Eh, well sorta hard to explain. It's no one really famous, it doesn't consist of celebritys or anything. It's a show, one of Cirque Du Soleil's shows, uhh it's like a really cool modern day circus, only better, I wouldn't really even compare it to a circus, it's not a lot like one..uhh yeah, it's sorta hard to explain... go here if you want to find out more... www.cirquedusoleil.com

Varekai -- its a show, one of the 4, that tours. Varekai is a part of Cirque du Soleil. You know what, I'm going to bring the DVD to Vassar so you may watch. Oh yea! :-D
