I had a dream last night that my brother came over and said that someone gave me him 5 tickets to go see Varekai (now, he said Philadelphia, and it's Alegria that was in Philly, not Varekai, but whatever lol) and that the tickets would be at will call. My dream unfortunately didn't consist of me being there (just my luck! hah!) but I felt the excitement. And I thought of Dergin, thinking, yeah I'll get to see him, although part of me wished I could see Vova too. But oh well.

Then I woke up and realized it was only a dream...booo.

Now wait, the original performer of solo on crutches was NOT handicapped correct? But now he has been replaced by someone who actually IS handicapped? Or is it that he really is handicapped, and its been the same performer the whole time and I'm just really really slow and really really stupid and haven't noticed it....

The original performer was not handicapped. Dergin took over his place in the end of OC run and yes, Dergin is handicapped. If you see Varekai on DVD and in live, you'll notice that they are using different crutches as well. =]

i wish i could be you for one day lol!!! ur soooo lucky!!
i think i saw Dergin when i watched it in San Diego because you could obviously tell he was handicapped by the way he moved with the crutches(it was BEAUTIFUL)..... and when i watched it on the DVD it was completely different!
