Ok, not gonna lie, boyfriends leaving and going back to their roots unsupervised is scary. I think you are acting totally reasonable, adn even if you weren't, its not like you could just stop feeling the way you do. My advice, my two pennies: Just make sure you give him the benefit of the doubt. Remember that his mind is elsewhere in a seperate familiarity but know that it does switch back to the beautiful kimmie a fairly healthy amount. He will not leave you for NY ho #5. =^))

Awww, thanks hun. That's the logic I think in my head, but my mind just keeps wandering back to him. Update: He did hang out with Katie, she came out to the bar with his friends saturday night, they went to lunch (one on one) sunday afternoon, and hung out with friends sunday evening. He said nothing's happening, she hasn't tried anything with him or said anything to my knowledge (though I'm not sure he'd tell me what they talked about considering he won't even be in the same room as me when he's talking to her on the phone). I believe him 100%, but I'm still bothered somewhat. Time will tell?

Hey sweetie.
I know I'm not much help in the male department, as I joined opposing forces... however... When Duncan and I were simply dating way back when, while I was in B.C. and he was in Edmonton, he hung out with his good girl friend, who he has admitted to being in love with for 'like ever'... I admit, I hated the idea, the convienence of not having to come back and pick up all my 'emotional' baggage cause his 'perfect girl' was right there. However, he did come back, and swore nothing happened. The moral of the story: When you find the right guy, you will believe in him / trust him, cause he does love you... (and p.s. this one sounds like a keeper ;) )
