when people used that cliche phrase, "you cant have your cake and eat it too."

i never knew what the hell they were talking about.

it's actually historically supposed to be "you can't eat your cake and have it, too". it pretty much means you can't have everything your way. you can either have this beautiful piece of cake that you show off to people, or you can eat it, enjoy it, and wallow in the fact that it means nothing to anyone but you now.

ill just take a picture of the damn thing. send it to everyone, hang it on my wall with wall lights shinning on it.
and then eat it.

see, that's good. they didn't have that technology in 18th century Paris. you're moving on up (to the east side). good thinking.

i hope i didn't sound like a know it all. i hate know it alls. the only things i know are pointless, like what "you can't have your cake and eat it too" means, so i don't often get a chance to help people out with it.
