What do you most regret losing?

My regret is not for myself, but for my son. Perhaps it is something that happens when one becomes a parent; we cease to be so concerned about ourselves and spend most of our time thinking of them. You love your son, and you do your best to protect him from the evil in this world. But you can no more protect him from all things evil than you can hold yourself responsible for evil's very existence. Remember that in your son's eyes there is light as well as shadow, and you are the source of the light.

Oh Unicorn, you do say the most beautiful thing. I do love you. *Kim hugs her and buries her face in the Unicorns neck* You make me feel so much better. I am trying to remind myself of what you say and I think I'm doing a little better. He's getting counselling and most of the time he seems back to normal. I hope it is for real.
