I've seen you around for years now, and stopped by from time to time. I am also a Christian, and also very conservative politically. I'd love to get to know you more on here, if you're up to someone new. If not, I will understand completely!

Well, hi! It does seem like we have a lot in common, not the least of which is modernelegance, a dear friend of mine. Anyone who is a friend of hers can be a friend of mine. I added you.

Also... you live in Jax too? And you sing at Celebration Church? That's awesome! I've only been there once, for a small concert (Jimmy Needham - love him!) but it looked like a very nice church. I live on the Westside but man, I love Jacksonville. Have you lived here for your entire life?

Yep! Jacksonville born and raised. We seem to be a minority... What about you? What church are you at? I love Celebration. My husband and I are at the St. Johns campus now... off San Jose. :)

I know a few native Jacksonvillains, but not many. And I know a few who grew up here, went away for a while, and then came back. I grew up in the Midwest but thankfully my mom got a job here in Jax when I was 18. I don't like cold weather so I always hoped to end up in Florida eventually. (And yes, this recent cold snap totally counts as cold weather! I busted out my gloves and even my hat this morning!) And I *love* Jacksonville. My husband grew up in New England and he loves it here too. (We met at Bible college.)

We go to a little church called Westside Chapel. Most people haven't heard of it, but we love it. =o)

My husband works in Mandarin but I didn't even know there was another Celebration campus. Ha! Do you do satellite services or do you have your own pastor and everything there?

Well hey! Do you actually write in your LJ? If so, I'll add you! I tend not to add people who are just lurkers though... even if I know them IRL. Maybe especially if I know them, because then they find out my unfiltered opinions about things. Just don't go telling Seth anything I write about him... mwahahahaha. ;o)

I had been writing in it, until this past summer. The people I knew stopped using it. I would update now and again for the online friends, but the also stopped reading, so I started to wonder why I was writing. I'd come back on now and again. I was between jobs, so nothing much was happening, either. Yeah, I tend to be more unfiltered here too. So maybe there's things you don't want to know about Seth. XD It's up to you.
