Yeah. She said it.

Read all about it.If Hillary Clinton had any idea how terrifying the very idea of assassination is, especially to black people who were around in the 1960's (IOW *old*) and are looking at this beautiful black man who has a very good chance of becoming President of the United States... Well, she must. Like she says all the time, she's experienced ( Read more... )

It's been totally embarrassing how she's increasingly been winking at playing the racism card, but this... There are no words.

I never heard of Keith Olberman before -- he's on MSNBC???!!!??? Love the passion.

I hope Obama has good protection. There are so many freaking hate-filled, righteous, nut-cases out there.

Keith has a news show called "Countdown." It's on at 5, 7 and 11 weekdays. Rich and I never miss it. :) It's the first (and only) news program I've ever watched regularly.

You should've heard what he said to Bush after that *retarded* statement he made about "giving up" golf in sympathy with the mothers of the soldiers in Iraq. Fucking moron.

I completely agree one hundred percent with you.

My father used to work in the dignitary protection unit here and he was there for at least fifteen or twenty years until last year when he transferred to the commissioner's office. I remember him saying that it coincided with his thirtieth year on the force (my dad is fifty-six) and I asked him how he was adjusting.

He said, "I'm just glad I'm sitting out this election. No matter who the idiot Democrats nominate, the other side's supporters are gonna try to kill them."

This from a man who's been doing this kind of work for close to two decades.

I still can't believe he said it and he said, "What? I'm telling the truth."

But there's a huge difference between having a private conversation with your daughter and spelling it out in public. Hillary, YOU FAIL for the day. You should have stuck with the Bill metaphor, especially around a bunch of oversensitive people.

I can buy her excuse for RFK, but that doesn't make it right.

Hillary fails for the millennium. Until Keith ran it down I'd forgotten how long the list of her transgressions was. And I have no doubt this latest one will be forgotten when the stock market opens on Tuesday.

All you can do is try to get through the day.

I hadn't heard about the Hillary thing until this afternoon... and my jaw just dropped. Cannot freaking believe it. I don't buy her "apology" or her spokesperson's bullshit explanations. The whole thing makes me feel sick.

Keith Olbermann is made of win. He somehow manages to articulate everything that pisses me off so much that I just stand there, mute, flailing in the face of it. Thank goodness someone is out there saying what I can't.

Thanks for posting that video. My friend had told me about it, but I hadn't found it yet. Hillary is becoming increasingly ... crazy isn't the right word, more like incomprehensibly stupid/insane. Aren't they supposed to have political advisors so they don't say things like that. And Oberman is right about how if someone would say something like she did it shows she doesn't understand the country (I've forget how he worded it) and she shouldn't be president. God help us all if she gets the nomination (which would have to be through magic at this point, with the way the numbers are). Ugh. I proudly voted for Obama in the Oregon primary this past Tuesday!

You know, when this primary season started over a year ago, I was rooting for Obama but would have been cool with Hillary. Well, right now I would vote for her only as a poor alternative to senile, anger management challenged, PTSD ridden and pandering to the fascists Johnny McBush who isn't fit to be my senator, much less my president. I have been blaming Hillary's husband and her campaign manager for her campaign's crazy ass Rovian scorched earth tactics for months now, but today I realized that as a feminist, I should hold her totally accountable. If she wants to be the first woman president, she ought to start by telling the men in her life that they are full of shit, or she isn't earning a vote from me. I have a memo for Hillary ( ... )
