I'll go out on a limb for this. My response to bailing out Wall Street: Oh, HELL no! I was reading an article that said "make your voice heard." It contained a link to this website. My Senator, my Representative and Nancy Pelosi all got emails from me.

I was indulging in a string of political shows last night: Countdown, Rachael Maddow and Heaven help me, Hardball, cause my back hurt, my husband had a meeting and I was curious how things were playing out and sometimes the pundits actually slip up and the truth comes out of their mouths. I was struck by how many politicians mentioned how angry the folks on "main street" were. Letters, phone calls, e-mails, faxes are having an effect which is just fantastic. I think that is the real reason no deal has been reached. The people have convinced their elected officials that they will seek retribution if they just hand over all that money, even with safeguards and conditions. We don't trust any of them, cause duh, why should we? I think they got the message loud and clear that the people are pitchfork rising up against them pissed
