Note: I do believe this is the first BSG genfic I have ever written (I specialize in A/R smut). As such girlfriend struggled mightily with it. I hope it lives up somewhat to Mr. Bond's specifications.

Well, when I read this was a Cain/Roslin fic I had something else in mind xD but it's good to see how things could have happened. Although I'm pretty sure if it weren't for Gaius helping Gina, things would have turned out to be not that bad, once Cain and Adama/Roslin met in a middle ground.

I specially liked the first scene, when Roslin is examining Pegasus and then Cain's expression when she gets the news. And your way of driving Ballard, is that his name? I'm a mess for remembering stuff about the not-main characters.

Ah, I had a feeling you were looking for femmeslash but I didn't want to make any assumptions. :) Sorry to disappoint. I once wrote a femmeslash story, but it was TNG (Beverly/OC) and a LONG time ago.

Well, I will definitely have to take a good look at your memories. I'm also a Babylon 5 and TNG fan. =D

And don't worry, I'm not disappointed. In fact, it's refreshing reading something that's not just lovers fanfiction. I'm just at the task of reading everything I can find about Cain so I would have read this anyway. =)
