I am so proud of you and your nursing school goal! I was happy to be a guinea pig for the BP cuff, but I gotta draw the line at needle pokes and catheters. Sorry. But you can cuff me anytime.
I can share with you my own needle stabbing experiences from giving insulin to two different cats over the last five years.
You can practice on my cat, Maggie, as a matter of fact. She gets her shot once daily, at around 6 pm. Holler if you want to do this. She won't notice. It only took me a few tries to master it. It's not the same level of difficulty as, say, trying to start an I.V. or anything, but it's something you can certainly do for stabbing practice.
How's that for being a supportive friend? "I'll let you stab my cat!" Hah!

Thank you for all the support! It's hard to stay focused when my goal requires me to stay home with my nose in a book all day . . . and not get paid.
I will TOTALLY stab your cat! I'll call you when I get a free-ish night!
