Archiving Links - Favorite Map of Westeros

My favorite maps of ASOIAF are the fan-made maps made by Westeros.org poster Other-in-Law. There are small villages (like Hag's Mire) that I haven't seen in any other map, heraldic shields, sigils, clever inside jokes (White Harbor has a picture of Lord Manderly eating a pie, hahaha). This is amazing, I think my favourite detail is Meera frog hunting in the neck surrounded by all bog dwelling animals.
I love maps, prior to seeing this, this one was my favourite,

Ohh, I didn't catch Meera on the first pass! That's so amusing. The map is certainly fun - like Where's Waldo. The large version has so many things that make me chuckle when the lightbulb finally turns on. I love Florian and Jonquil and her five sisters at Maidenpool. Though I have to admit, I don't get half of it. Who's that man in purple with the donkey at Goldentooth?

That map you linked is lovely! Reminds me of Mary Blair who illustrated those Little Golden Books that I read as a kid.

Did you have a good thanksgiving?

I did - hung out with my family, including my brother (the fanfic reading one). Resisted the urge to give him a noogie. Thank you for asking, surprised you remembered holiday given its one you don't celebrate.

The man in purple looks like some sort of merchant? There's plenty I don't get, who are the people fighting by Winterfell?
I only know about thanksgiving from what I've seen on friends : )
