onborrowedwings asked about this project, so I thought I would post on my progress. I've been taking some online tutorials about layout and book design that have been really illuminating. I had no idea that things like margins could be so impactful. Also been trying to get my head wrapped around MS Publisher and Adobe InDesign as my goal is for the illustrations

The cover art is something else, I wanted the cover to be erotically suggestive given the fanfic material. Glad you like the concept of this piece though!

The eyes should both be red as the sap of the weirwood trees are red, Ill have breathing2004 change that. His cloak is striking but its the color of the Lannisters. Yes, I do like LF and the way he is in opposition to Sandor. thanks for commenting!

Beautiful! I adore the firey direwolf, its so Sansa. The weirwoods at the side add a good touch of menace to the scene. Is it wrong to be insanely excited about the erotic scenes? I hope not because I am!

Im excited about the erotic scenes but people are really hard to cajole into drawing a penis, so they aren't as forthcoming as the non erotic ones. Have to twist some arms.

Im still deciding on a Sandor face too, good thing theres that SXS post recently.

Thanks! Breathing2004 stylized work is really interesting, he does all those Tolkien stain glass ones you've seen around tumblr.
