Marching Song, Part 4/?

I wrote this for dealbreaker19 as a part of the SansaxSandor letter exchange. It blossomed from what was suppose to be one letter into a full blown epistolary romance. This is the fourth letter of several letters.

Title: Marching Song

Summary: Sandor's war letters to Sansa while he is on campaign. An epistolary smutfic.  "It feels so sweet to fall ( Read more... )

write a fic that's swoon-worthingly romantic but without a hint of fluff. I love that.
Aw that's perfect description of my ambition. My favorite Sandor in fanfiction is Maroucia's. But that growliness she brings to her fics would be out of place in the context of mine where he's been pacified, made affectionate by his years long relationship with Sansa.

Plus, his request of her to write something 'sweet and dirty about how much you love and miss me. At least four pages long
We've spoken about this before - how future fics make him docile. When I think he would loathe to see himself like that. I guess I see at the heart of their attraction to one another a protection fetish that relies on hero worship kind of sexual dynamics.

btw, how are you going to manage that in epistolary form?! I'm intrigued...
Oh I don't know if its wank material I'm trying to produce. More like sexual transparany, dirty talk yeah but also frank honesty about the nature of desire rather than insert slot a into slot b.

I am set to melt into a pool of mushy gooeyness at the love expressed here. I loved Sansa's passage, and the joy that it inspired in him. Such beautiful lines here :)

Ah thank you. Its not so much that I was directly inspired by it, but I did think about our conversations about how much you miss Nuru when he's away on business. I think Sansa and Sandor have that kind of affection, they are both intense, passionate people and of course being at war would compound the agony of separation. If he was a star sign, he'd be a Scorpio. And Sansa would be a Pieces I think. Don't laugh that I've mapped out their astrological signs!
