True, both the Sleeping Beauty series and the Story of O are written by female authors. I don't think the popularity of that fantasy boils down to something as simplistic as internalized misogyny. I suspect there some psychology going on there, but I don't really know what.
On my personal LJ page, I'm going to declare their is way too much Sansa as a victim of rape stories. GRRM has yet to have her character be violated in that manner and sets up a plot device so that she does not suffer that level of predation by LF. I wish fanfic writers would not put her through something so vile that GRRM hasn't (and likely never will). This may sound silly, but Sansa's very real to me, while I want to read about her hero's journey, I dont want her to suffer abuse beyond what she's already suffered in canon. She's arguably already suffered more tragedy/abuse than any POV character save Theon.
I don't think it's internalised mysoginy, just a personality type that's more common in women than men... It's a desire to subsume ones individuality into a greater whole I think.... I have no idea why so many women get off on rape fantasies, but they are common, If i am going to write about sexual abuse, then I wont make it sexy. So many women do though... You would think that would be a guy thing.
