I've dabbled in BPAL but honestly I prefer to stick with a couple of scents I love rather than try an endless variety of them. I'm interested to see the results of your San & San scent quest!

Turns out the bpal store is open during standard business days but the owners only come in once a month to introduce their new perfumes. I spent an ungodly amount of time there today in search of a Sansan scent. I think I was successful - but you be the judge. I'm sending you two imps that embodied Sansa and Sandor for me.

I've only tried a few BPAL scents - just a dozen or so :p - but their Versailles seems very Sansa-ish. The copywrite promises to invoke the sophisticated luxury of the palace (Sansa and her dreams and expectations at court) but it actually makes me think of spring and pure, natural beauty (as opposed to the artificial beauty of palaces and courtiers). Its notes are "red and gold citrus, amber, red rose, jasmine, and orris." It might sound Lannister but it smells Tully-Stark!

I hope you get a kick out of the Sandor scent, I'll be sure to wrap it extra tight with tape so it doesn't spill. I liked it actually after a couple of hours.
Given how hot it is in your neck of the woods, I'll send you the Winterfell one I chose - Black Tower. Nicely cold smelling, like cold rocks and cold steel, ivy, leather, wine. But no mint, which a lot of winter scents have - that just reminds me of LF, which I have no interest in evoking. :P
