Not long-winded, merely a long story. I'd say you went to the level of detail required to understand the full scope of what happened without putting in anything truly TMI or veering from the, er, focus of the narrative. But then, I generally was a fan of your writing. I just wish you could have a happier story of the last fifteen years to be telling us now. : /

I'm proud of you. I'm sorry you had to go through all that emotional abuse with physical abuse piled on top at the end. I'm very glad you and Fiona can start healing and being a real and loving family. But mostly I'm proud of you; after all that it had to have been so hard to end it, but you did.
