You know... I know very little about the world wars, or the war going on in Iraq, the war on terrorism, Hitler, Bush, and anything else. I admit that I am so unenlightened on that stuff that it's not even funny ( ... )

People overseas called us "Ugly Americans" even before we started wrapping arrogance in religion... now "ugly" is almost the kindest word used.

*shakes head* And I have absolutely no idea how to stem the tide. Every time the religious right are prevented from taking over another organization or institution, they claim they're being "persecuted" and their perceived martyrdom makes them even more fervent and determined to overcome.

Good fucking Lord on High, these people are the most hypocritical pack of whiny idiots that I have ever laid eyes on in my entire life! Oh, gee, how nice it is of them to declare war on every non-Christian (which I think makes up more than half the freaking planet), but GOD FORBID somebody takes a stab at them with a pin!
