People... if you ever listen to Bill O'Reilly, please stop. Now. The man is clearly, completely nutso. So wrapped in his own little world that any minute now a pocket dimension will form around him and swallow him whole... or at least, so we can devoutly wish.

And doesn't pregnancy also often exacerbate other conditions? Like cancer? Sure, the pregnancy itself won't kill you, but if it exacerbates the cancer... umm...

It doesn't sound like he bases his judgements on a lot of facts but more on opinion.

And then he passes those opinions on as facts. In the middle of a news show, which is where people expect to hear facts about what's going on in the world.
This is utterly reprehensible!

That's exactly what I've been arguing in my LJ over the past day or two. The thought of viewers actually believing this stuff is what gets me. The more out-and-out misinformation in the media -- not bias, not spin, not you're-not-telling-me-what-I-want-to-hear, but empirically disprovable falsehood -- can be exposed, the better.

Gee, tell that to my sister. The only reason she found out she had a tubal pregnancy (which would have not only caused the baby to be stillborn but killed HER as well), was because she got an abortion. The doctors didn't know until they tried to abort it and found out that, hey! something ain't right!

I fart in his general direction.
