i got cute new shoes yesterday.

but i guess the bigger news is,

last night after a steak dinner on the water, we went to the beach, and,
bob proposed!
we are getting married!

what else do i say?

i am the happiest i've ever been.

(p.s. - who's throwing the engagement party? ;))

i was supposed to babysit, but then i wasn't needed.

well, there were some people i wanted to tell myself before i made an lj post, and i couldn't get ahold of paula until yesterday. but i apologize to the internet. :)

there's engagement parties? Well, I guess I should start planning for one! If only I didn't have my parents house on weekdays. I will see you tomorrow.

they always talk about them on a wedding story (because i sit at home and watch entirely too much TLC) or at least engagement dinners. maybe i'm making it up because i want to celebrate? WHATEVER JUST DO IT. haha...just kidding.

no, they are separate. engagement party would be for both of us, and much sooner. bachelorette party later just for girls, bachelor party for boys. oh and then there's a bridal shower.

apparently getting married is also an excuse to have a bunch of parties which is a-okay in my book.

oh awesome! everything is still as planned for the 27th as far as i know.

and that is a good idea...we probably will...but that won't probably be for some time.
