Lost...

Stranger in a Strange Land.

I usually enjoy Jack episodes. This one, wasn't the greatest. I'm sure there will be awesome, mind-blowing, question-answering episodes before the episode is over. I really hope so.

I don't think the story was furthered very much in this episode. Why throw in this really vague story about Jack getting his tat in Thailand? I mean, his story was vague and the story of the island was vague.

- When did Jack go to Thailand? I mean, right before he met his wife? After the divorce? We can assume but why be so vague?

- How long was he there dating that chick? She bothered me by the way.

- Why did those guys beat him up? Ok, so he's an outsider. Why did him getting the tattoo mean that he needed to be beat down?

I'm, just saying that if you cannot reveal much of anything regarding the Others and the island then can you at least make the flashback more coherent?

Maybe it's just me.

I've said this before but why aren't some of the Losties asking more questions? I remember back in season one when it was a big deal that Charlie killed Ethan because they wanted to capture and question him. Now some are with the others and they aren't grilling them.

- Jack didn't ask too many questions to Cindy when he saw her and the kids from flight 815. I don't care how confused she looked and how "complicated" she thinks it is but I sure as hell would ask her everything she knows about the people keeping me captive in a cage.

- Kate and Sawyer are in the jungle with an Other or at least someone who has been with the Others. Why aren't they asking Karl everything he knows?

I think that this episode was sort of a transition episode. They are going to Ben's "home" now so things will be different now. Kate and Sawyer will be back on their beach with our Losties. Things will happen there.

I didn't post any thoughts on Desmond's episode. I really don't know what to make of it. Desmond's life flashing before his eyes didn't stop apparently. Hmm, ok. He continually see's Charlie dying. It's quite weird and LOST is great with the weird. I just have to hope that it works into the story someday and that it get's explained a little.

I still love the show, I just have some issues with where it is right at this time. I just hope it doesn't get horrible towards the end.

P.S. I think T.V. promos are a product of evil. So many promos for different shows lately have been just awful at promoting the upcoming episode. They either spoil you, make you think something totally different is going to happen, or just hype it up too much and then you get let down. I'm going to try to avoid promos for the shows I'm watching.
