So I know I haven't updated in awhile but life has been busy. Got cast in an independent film which I'm really excited about. Went home to Seattle for a week and in another month I'll be going back for another week. It has been an interesting day. Lots of 9/11 flashbacks for me. I live four blocks from where the plane crashed into the apartment building. Very strange to be this close. Sirens. Smoke. People walking around confused. I had an audition downtown and a girl actually left because the whole thing was effecting her so much. Very interesting.

So in rehearsal today, our Hamlet had to leave early so we had to figure out which scene to do. So our directors, innocently says, "I guess we could do Ophelia now". So I had Netflixed the first disc of the first season of Dadwood and oh my God!!! This show is amazing!! I can't wait to get disc 2! Stupid HBO putting two episodes a disc. Ian McShane is brilliant! And the writing...I kept hearing it compared to Shakespeare and I get it now. In LOVE with this show!

Anyone else know about this? How in order to get things really clean, you have to get it reaaaaaally messy first? I'm being trying to do a huge overhaul of my apartment. I mean getting rid of stuff left and right and scrubbing it down. Unfortunately, because of my schedule, it's taking longer than I thought...and so right now my apartment just ( Read more... )

Sooo...it's been awhile. Had some computer issues...had to get a new HD...things are fine now but it's been a HUGE pain in the ass!

The past few days in NYC have been HOT!! It looks like it will be more bearable today, thankfully. Been desperately trying to get a play written before the retreat...I've still got a few weeks but EEP!!
