I went to the dentist and my step-dad Terry came with to watch Aria. She was happy for a while, but it soon became clear that she needed her mommy. While they were setting up for the next stage, I nursed her then handed her back. But she was still not content, so Terry brought her into the exam room with me and sat her on my lap, and she was happy

Belly-2-Belly is the way to go. tigresa and I worked that out in the middle of one night. I am happy to see that folk were chill with you doing it.

I love how great people are with breastfeeding mothers. I have breastfed all over the place and most people just kind of ignore you, but some of them even smile. Once I was outside the pharmacy building breastfeeding Caleb (I took him to some classes with me last year when he was still little enough to sleep through class) and the mail carrier walked out, saw me, smiled and said hello. You could tell that he was a dad.

Caleb and my new favorite position- which I think only works well when they get a bit bigger- is for me to curl up on my side, and he puts his head on my arm and his legs over my legs and he nurses and falls asleep. We normally sleep that way for at least half the night. (He starts on his pad and moves to our bed around midnight.)
