So. Apparently World of Warcraft's P2P patch distribution uses the BitTorrent protocol, so I just got a big epic "DO NOT PIRATE SHIT!" warning and my internet cut off. Hopefully I can get it removed from my record because... hello, distributed directly by the copyright holders. And obviously I turned off the P2P distribution options in the WoW

Hopefully you've found this out by now, but if your campus is anything like mine, you will not be the only person downloading the patch and having issues today! It will be fine!
