Aw Stinkin Hell
I wrecked some felt by over-sculpting it. Needled it denser & firmer, & then it started
getting squishier instead of firmer. Ack! So I was able to pull it off (way too easily)
in bits - I'd felted it so aggressively that the fibers started breaking down. Fuckaroo.
I can redo it, but you know.
It's the kitty doll I'm working on. I LOVE the project. The client is a total sweetheart.
But having to redo the ear really pisses me off!
At least the other ear looks good. The one that got wrecked was the least-awesome
of the pair. If I am lucky I will finish ear & paws TOMORROW. & then it will be all
fun garment & embellishment.
& ok this is not earth-shattering or anything, but my 'winding down' activity is to
play Baldur's Gate 2. Something got screwed up in it though, because suddenly it's
freezing-crashing when I try to enter a certain area. Patches & recommended fixes
don't work. Multiple uninstalls & reinstalls later, it's still screwed up. It's 85
game days in, dammit! & using the cheat console to enter the area in a brand
new game, it still crashes & freezes. So starting over isn't any good either.
I upgraded iTunes & installed LimeWire this past week. New camera software stuff
was added too. I dunno why any of this should screw up Baldur's Frickin Gate 2. Maybe
sound & video card crap needs new drivers or something. Bleh. All I want is to do my
STUFF.
People need to stop calling me for stupid reasons. Today was some loan consolidation
call. I said to the phone lady, "Oh, no thank you." She said "what are you thanking me
for?" Cheeky cow. "Uh, I'm not interested in your service." Then grills me, have I
consolidated my loans? Yes? Well, are there any left UNconsolidated? is anyone else in
the household going to college with loans? Fucking hell, I was sleeping. Leave me alone.
All I'm trying to do is to get off the phone without getting pissed off enough at you
to feel bad about being a bitch to you, phone lady. What I really wanna do is get back
to that cool dream I was having where I was searching through the abandoned barn for
the clues that would open up the secret passage wherein was hidden the evidence of
dark & shocking family secret that stretched back for generations & had
earthshattering implications. Dammit, that was a cool dream!
Stupid phone lady!
Cutest thing in the world is when the ball python gets SOOO excited about eating, that
her big fat stubby tail waggles back & forth as if she were trying to do an impression
of a rattlesnake. But it's such a BIG tail, it can only sort of wag like a labrador's
tail. Ted the cornsnake's skinny whippy tail can buzz. Harper can only waggle. Adorable!
