Rhubarb... yes you can, its wicked easy. I was told its best to get an actual plant to start. It likes mostly sun with some shade. My neighbors growing up had it planted around the bases of smallish trees in their yard, and it grew HUGE. They gave us a plant to start, and even though ours was in a mostly shade area (our whole yard was mostly shade), it still did ok, though never got real big. Its still going, with no tending other than to rake the leaves out from around it in the fall.
