When one is in love, what is one to do?

[Scene 1]

Shou grasped Kyo's shoulder and slightly shook him. He broke into hysterics, "Kyo-san! You might hate me for this...for crying. You said once that if you didn't find a reason to hate someone, you could possibly love them because you couldn't kill them even though they don't mind dying by your hands... Even if you kill me... I would still like you. After all, Kyo-san--! Y-You're the first person who didn't give a damn in the world about my face! You treated me normally! Kyo-san!" He choked and sobbed and wailed, "Kyo-san! It might be really strange to hear this from a man, but I really, really like you!" Even though he claimed that he didn't want Kyo to know his feelings, he didn't want him to leave. He wanted to stay by his side. He wanted to see him again.

Kyo patted his head again and sighed. The lukewarm, moist breath hit the nape of Shou's neck, sending shivers down his spine. "I don't hate you. I couldn't even if I tried," Kyo reassured the college student, "but about your feelings... I'm nearly inhuman, probably am. Sorry about that. It was only a dream, having emotions."

"Hey... Kyo-san... You said you did odd jobs, right?" Shou questioned. Kyo nodded. "Then...love me for a day. Pretend you do have humanly emotions and love me. I'll even pay you and--?" His eyes widened as he felt two cold lips placed upon his own.

"Don't bother paying. I'll learn something new instead," Kyo said before forcing his tongue down the taller's throat. It took a while before Shou reacted, entwining their tongues. Kyo pulled away before unbuttoning Shou's pajama top, sliding his appendage down the other's skin.

"K-Kyo-san?!" Shou cried, suddenly aware of their positions. His neck was suddenly caressed and bit. A small gasp escaped his lips as Kyo began nibbling on his skin while his hands slipped elsewhere. A long moan emitted from Shou's lips, and he didn't care anymore.

If Kyo missed work, Shou could miss his classes. He didn't mind going back to bed.

[Scene 2]

He didn't mind dying by his hands?

Longing dark eyes stared at the limp body. He was unsuspecting and gullible. He was kind and accepting. He was loved. He was adored. He was granted his wish. Was he happy? Would he go to heaven?

During their last kiss, Kyo had struck a nerve. Shou was relaxed. He was calm. He died by love.

Uncapping a marker, Kyo cautiously drew an Uroboros in the the palm of Shou's hand. It was still warm. He held it tightly, refusing to let go for a moment longer until Ruki arrived, drawing rich, crimson blood from the body. His eyes glanced at Kyo for a brief, succinct moment, and he commented, "You did a nice thing for him."

"Right... I killed him. That's definitely nice," Kyo sneered. The assassin watched as the shadow slipped away before crawling out of the blankets and pulling on his boxers and getting dressed. Again, he crammed all of his stuff into his bag. Taking one last glance at Shou's smiling face, he left without a trace after making a brief comment, "You're forever my victim."

Kamijo had already arranged him a simple apartment. Everything was going to be okay. He could continue his life normally...but he knew that nothing was ever a common occurance in his life.

[Scene 3]

"I thought it was strange when Shou didn't come to class today," Tora brought up in the conversation at Kai's Antique Café. Nao stayed in silence while Kai couldn't reply. Hiroto knew it was better that he didn't say anything. Tora sighed.

"This is Saga from the police station. You're a friend of Shou-san, right? I'm sorry to say that he had passed away this morning. Could you possibly come down to help us out?"

Tora glanced at the hooded figure near the window. But man, Tora thought to himself, Kyo-san must really be taking it hard. From what I've seen, it appeared as though those two were close. Dark orbs dilated when a blonde entered through the glass doors. Damn it! He even knows about this place?! Right when we wanted to avoid the topic with my last sentence!
"Saga-san?" Tora greeted the police officer, masking all signs of annoyance and frustration. Saga waved at the college student before ordering a cup of black coffee. Hiroto narrowed his eyes at the officer. He wanted to pounce on him for making his brother feel uncomfortable, but he would get arrested for that. Tora wouldn't want that.

"Saga!" another voice exclaimed. Everyone's attention, excluding Kyo, turned to the door again. There was another blonde haired man who wore a leopard print shirt with red skinny jeans and black pole-climber boots. He grabbed Saga's arm and grinned mischievously. "Let's go out to drink! You must be awfully tired after that new case! There's this new place that opened down the street called 'Kyouki's Bar'! I heard it was really good!"

You could see Kai tense up visibly while Nao sighed and shot him a "not this again" look.

"Byou! All I really want is some coffee!" Saga protested. "I'm going to be pulling another all-nighter tonight! I don't think I want to be drunk on the job!" Byou frowned.

"You're no fun lately," he grumbled before walking out, "all because of your new position on the CSI department." Saga sighed. At that point, Kyo strolled out of the café. Kyouki's Bar? Heh. Kyo remembered when that Uruha guy came over to declare war with Kai on the day he first met Shou

"Ahh! Watch out! Watch out!" a young man cried as he ran towards Kyo. A little late to react, Kyo turned his head lazily before crashing into the young man. Kyo groaned before his eyes widened at the sight of a female flashmob that seemed to grow bigger and bigger. He cursed and swore before grabbing the other's wrist and sprinting towards Kai's Antique Café.

A car passed by and its window rolled down. Kyo stared at a familiar face wearing sunglasses.

"What, Hizaki?" he demanded.

"I met someone who you might be interested in," Hizaki responded with a light smirk. "His name is Jui, and he works at Kyouki's from four to nine at night. It's right down the street from where you usually go. Also, Yuki's got you another shadow. Ruki-kun is a little busy at the moment with personal affairs. Kamijo let him off. Now there's Mao-san. He's a bit of a mystery, so don't be too shocked when he pops out of nowhere."

[Scene 4]

"Jui, hurry up and deliver this to table five," Uruha demanded as he slid a tray with a single cocktail glass towards the hard-working blonde. Jui smiled and replied with a "yes sir!" before finishing the dishes and traveling to the very corner where Kyo sat.

"Here's your cocktail, sir," he said. He blinked, seeing no reaction at all from the assassin. "Sir...? Are you okay, sir? Ano... Sir...?" Was he already drunk? Did he even have anything to drink? Worrisome thoughts ran through Jui's mind and nearly caused him faint.

"Hey, you, what are you still doing here? You're pissing me off. Hurry up and go," Kyo grunted. Jui gulped and bowed his head before rushing off. "Wait! What's your name?" Kyo demanded.

"J-J-Jui," he answered before running back behind the safety of the counter. A raven haired man chuckled at his behavior. "Aoi-san! Please don't laugh! He was pretty scary... This is my first time working at such a place, too..."

Aoi shook his head in attempt to erase all signs of amusement. "Hai, hai, Jui-chan~ Anyways, what can a carpenter who helped build this place afford? How about that Moët et Chandon that Uruha-kun always yaps about? It's not that expensive from what I see."

Jui sighed. "If the manager heard you, I doubt you'd still be alive."

Aoi raised an eyebrow. "Is it really that good?"

"It's his favorite," Jui answered, "but he's always drinking. He says that with a lot of alcohol--even beer."

"Then I'll have beer, too!" Aoi laughed, making fun of the owner behind his back. Strolling out of the kitchen door appeared the bartender himself, who glared intensely at his "friend." Aoi returned the glare with a light smirk to accompany it. Kyo sighed and sipped his cocktail.

"I can't believe Hizaki reccomended this. It's too light." His eyes strayed to the scene several meters away from him before placing a generous amount of tip on the table--the exact same amount that Shou would have paid him. He raised an eyebrow at the person sitting across from him. Byou nodded his acknowledgement.

"I thought you looked pretty lonely. At first, I was going to ask if you needed a good fuck or something, but then you were actually serious about this depression thing you got going on. Well, it may not be depression, but you're not exactly human per say." He slid a business card in front of Kyo. "Do whatever you want with it. Keep it. Toss it. Whatever."

"BYOU.
Prostitute."

"But even though it says that, I do have someone I'm interested in. It's not you though. Don't get the wrong idea. It's my drinking buddy. You might know him as Saga-san at the police station."

"I wasn't even thinking of anything, so would you please stop talking to yourself? It makes you look really stupid," Kyo barked back. Byou laughed.

"You're funny. You're really funny. It seems that you're a bit happier now for someone's that's non-human." Byou then arched an eyebrow, focused on another sight. "Hmm... That's a new face. You don't normally see him drinking." Kyo shifted his gaze and found a young man with blonde hair that had some black strands. "I met him once on the streets. He's an artist. He scares everyone off with his paintings and sketches though. It's quite disturbing--well, I guess it all depends on your interests whether it's scary or not. They might please you, in my honest opinion."

[Scene 5]

"Hey... Doesn't she look familiar?" Hiroto whispered to his brother. Tora narrowed his eyes at the beautiful blonde woman sitting at the counter only a few seats away from them. Tora then adjust his brother's face to stare at the menu and not the goddess to their left.

"You mustn't stare, Pon. It's rude," Tora scolded his younger brother. Hiroto's cheeks flushed. Of course. That rule had slipped his mind and caused him embarrassment in front of his honorable brother. His cheeks glowed red before he received his usual green tea. "And Pon, it's Hizaki-san from the TV."

What's he doing here, I wonder...
Tora shook his head mentally. Ugh, I can't even stop thinking now. If I keep this up, Hiro-Pon will notice...and I don't want him to worry too much. He already has the exams to be concerned about.
Tora ordered some ramen...the same one Shou had before he passed away.

"Ano..." the person a few seats away began. The brothers averted their attention to the model. "I've never eaten here before. What's really good?" he questioned. Kai walked in at that time.

"What's really good?" he repeated. "I must say that we serve a variety of foods, as you can see, but this café happens to be extremely famous and well-known for its desserts--especially the cheesecakes and strawberry shortcakes. Also, Nao-kun, our barista happens to be quite talented in making expressos."

Tora and Hiroto then shared the same thought, He's advertising so that Antique Café won't lose to Kyouki's. It was rather disappointing to see Kai cheer himself up this way. Well, Kai was well aware of Uruha's capabilities. They've known each other for a while after all.

"Ara?" Hiroto spoke up. "Where's Reita-san? Is he taking another day off again?" Nao shook his head.

"Nope. He has another part-time job at an ice cream parlor," Nao answered.
