Fun Fact! "Uroboros-san" came from the Uroboros album because Jenni-chan was soooo unoriginal!! XD
[Scene 1]
Kai blinked. "We have a problem?" he repeated, unsurely. Uruha had been rivals with him from the start. Together, they grew stronger and better. Together, they went through many things...but they were never a real team, so to say. Uruha nodded.
"That man happens to be, from what Aoi told me, the president of Versailles Pharmacy," Uruha explained. "If we screw up his expectations, we're all dead." Kai gulped and began to gnaw on his lower lip, chewing over his thoughts. He forced himself to think positively although he knew fairly well that Versailles Pharmacy was a big influence in the world. Even the bright chef could not imagine what would happen to them if the president was not happy.
"Well...We'd never know if we don't do anything. Doing something is better than nothing, in this case," Kai chirped while struggling to smile. Unseen by the shop owners, Kyo rolled his eyes, causing Bou to turn and stare with worry. Kyo glared slightly at the blonde model before sipping his coffee and complimenting Nao on his coffee, feeling a different twinge of flavor.
"Kyo-san?" Bou questioned. Kyo arched an eyebrow before slapping tip on the table and leaving. Bou bowed his head and quickly chased after the assassin. "Kyo-san, what's up?"
"Nothing," Kyo lied through his teeth. It was only obvious that Kyo wondered about what that damned vampire president was doing. It only proved that Kyo wasn't the only one taking secret actions. He strolled through the city with furrowed brows while Bou closely followed. The model eventually grew courageous enough to step up and walk side-by-side with his bodyguard. Kyo glimpsed at the blonde before sighing. "Let's go somewhere else to eat," he suggested.
[Scene 2]
"Yuki-sensei," the little girl called out, "why am I still here? I'm perfectly fine. I can run, I can jump, I can dance, and I can sing." Yuki took a seat beside the newborn vampire. He smiled, showing off his fangs and silently telling the girl that he was much older than her and knew better. "Yuki-sensei?" she questioned lightly, unaware of the bit of stress she was giving the surgeon.
"Tsubaki-chan," he chirped before patting the girl's head, "why you are still here is because you cannot eat." She tilted her head to the side, mystified by his words.
"Yuki-sensei," a nurse slipped in, "excuse me, but you have a visitor. He claims to be your brother. His name, as he says, is Teru." Yuki's eyes darkened dramatically. If Teru was dropping by for a visit, there was a 50% chance that it was about Jasmine You or about something completely irrelevant. Yuki nodded, allowing his brother to come in. The blonde haired artist strolled in casually without a care in the world. He waved to the little girl.
"This is your Uncle Teru," Yuki introduced him, "my brother and your father's brother."
Tsubaki waved with a bright smile that beamed like the sunlight that threatened to kill them. Strangely, it was attracting rather than repulsive. "Hi!" she chimed. "I'm Tsubaki!"
Teru nodded with a light smile. "So I've heard."
"What's this about?" Yuki questioned as he took Teru away from Tsubaki by a few several steps.
"Jasmine You may not be dead... I'm still not sure, but Kyo is getting those supplies from somewhere, and you know it's either me or him with the works," Teru stated calmly before breaking into a smile. "I think... Maybe... Just maybe... The future ahead isn't so dim. Everything won't be as cloudy anymore." Yuki shook his head.
"I don't know, Teru... You may be one of the sharpest...but... I saw it happen. I couldn't do anything. I was useless...and he dissolved right in front of me--"
"I know you're going to say I'm in denial because we were good friends, but...who else could be assisting Kyo?" Teru pointed out. "The only thing I've done for him so far is help him with his plan. Hizaki's only giving him pointers. Kamijo is the one who hired him. Those weapons are one of a kind. If it's not Jasmine You, then who? Is Kamijo hiding something? These things...there are things...that are just left behind and out of context. I remember...asking Jasmine You to help out though. I was aggravated at the moment because I couldn't come up with any ideas...but...maybe he heard me."
Yuki nodded before confessing, "Come to think of it... I did the same thing. 'Jasmine You, come back down here and help us out for a bit. Weapons or something. Anything.'"
[Scene 3]
Saga was stopped. Normally, he would push the person out of his way and continue with his life, but this person was not any regular person whom he could just push out of his way. This person was Hizaki, the Hizaki. Their eyes locked, and, instantly, Saga was immersed into dark pools. He drowned and struggled to catch his breath. Soon, his breathing slowed down. He felt his heart faintly beating. There was a ringing in his ear, followed by a soft voice. The cop was not able to make anything out of those foreign words, yet he still fell into a trance. He felt his eyes growing heavier and heavier. He was dreary and weary and suddenly exhausted.

The model smiled lightly at the policeman before bowing and excusing himself. He walked straight past the fazed young man.

As Hizaki entered the elevator, Saga nearly fell to his knees. His groan echoed throughout his head, resonating in his mind. The pain began to wrap all over his body. He ached. The sound of the eerie voice hit him millions of times over and over again before strangling him with its nonexistant hands. He gasped for air, begging for oxygen to flow through his body.
At that moment, he leaned against the wall of the lobby in the LMC building. His eyes snapped open as his body was thrust back into reality.
"...what was that?" he whispered, unaware that Byou had snuck into the elevator with Hizaki while he was being attacked. The doors to the elevator had slid shut, and the two handsome men inside stood silent, without saying a single word or making a single noise.
Byou was the first to break the stillness with a question, "Who are you really, Hizaki-san? Does Maya-san know?" Hizaki smiled.
"You must be close to Maya-sama if you know his name," Hizaki responded, "so I suppose you have the right to know that I am not human. Was that your friend out there? Shouldn't you check up on him to make sure he's alright? My mind destruction, even on level 1, is quite powerful and overwhelming."
Byou smirked. "I guess we have something in common, Hizaki-san--we both like playing with minds. We're also searching for something called unconditional and eternal love, right? Well, it's not like it matters. Tell me how you and Maya-san met, and why you did that to Saga," Byou demanded.
Hizaki chuckled before shutting the elevator down temporarily. "We can't let anyone disturb us, after all," he reasoned before leaning against the railing. The model stared across from him. His reflection was not there. Of course, this elevator was not bewitched so vampires could see their reflection. He would have to talk about Maya about that--then again, he never rode the elevator with anybody.
He started from the first request, "Maya-sama's family has been taking care of us for a while. They were the first to learn of our secret and kept it that way. The secret is that we cannot age normally like you humans. We are immortal--in a way. You can say we are ageless, but that does not mean we are invincible. Our elixir is nearly complete, and we will expand our years and centuries further. Of course, we only started this search and journey for the elixir because one of us perished in warning. He had sacrificed himself to tell us that we need to replenish ourselves.
"Now, why I nearly corrupted Saga-kun's mind is a different story. He nearly found out our servant's quest. We need him to persevere a moment longer. We cannot afford to get caught at any rate." Hizaki paused and stared at Byou, who was examining his nails. "Since you and Maya-san are close, I'll let you live. I cannot say the same for your friend, unfortunately, so you better make sure that he keeps his nose where it should be." He started the elevator again before stopping on the next floor and exiting. Byou continued to the top to meet with Maya, who wanted to repay him for his service.
However, he could not think of anything to say to the president. He only wanted to make sure Saga was still alive as much as Maya wanted to be with Aiji.
[Scene 4]
Bou sipped his fruit smoothie silently as he watched Kyo feed the stray kittens in the park. A lip smile lingered on his lips. Even Kyo seemed to be at bliss. Normally, you would see the assassin with a frown on his lips (or a smirk). This time, there was not a scowl, not a smirk, not even wrinkles on his forehead. He wasn't exactly smiling, but he was at peace. Today, Bou recalled, there was nothing for him to do. Apparently, he didn't want to kill the model yet, nor had he figured out a way to kill the model. In other words, Bou still had some time left to spend with his "bodyguard."
Or...that's what he thought. For a moment, he turned around before letting out a squeak. Kyo had left to get some cigarettes. The latter had such bad timing. Well, it wasn't as if Kyo would come and save him, Bou mused, because whatever was happening would quicken the process of his reaching death. The model yelped before being gagged by a white cotton cloth. Another cloth was pressed against his nose, and he instinctively inhaled the sickly-sweet odor.
His eyes had shut, and he was whisked away--taken by darkness.
As the white van drove off, Kyo had already arrived at the scene. With the plastic cup rolling around on the concrete, he had already placed two and two together before lighting a cigarette and taking a drag.
"Shit. I think I have to go after him now."
He exhaled the toxic air before running a hand through his hair.
"Damn. This isn't the way I wanted to get rid of him. It's such a pain in the ass when someone else goes after your prey."
He had made up his mind soon after those words left his mouth. He would stop talking to himself, for starters, and track down that white van. If only he knew where it was going, who was in it, and why that Lolita was taken.
"Oi, Ruki, lend me a hand, would you?" he questioned to nobody in particular. Hopefully, his shadow was still there and had seen everything. Hopefully, his shadow could answer and tell him everything. If not, then...he was screwed.
But he had never given up on a target before, and he definitely didn't want to start. It would leave a bad mark on "Uroboros."
Fortunately, the shadow appeared right beside him.
"That white van happened to be an ice cream truck loaded with porn tapes. Inside were two perverted men. The one who took the rich blood was the third one. He happened to be quite muscular. I assume they're the brothers who have been going around, kidnapping whoever they deem worthy of their love. In the end, it's just another group of lovesick rapists."
Kyo grunted.
He hated rapists. They could never put up much of a fight.
Kyo questioned further. "Do you know where they went?"
"I'm all-seeing, not all-knowing, Kyo-san," Ruki responded, "but I did hear that their hideout is in a Shinjuku warehouse. Would you like the coordinates?"
"Very much so."
