I was afraid the current events would lead a lot of AK writers into a dilemma. *sigh*
I can't really judge it very well since I never wrote something myself so I'm not sure about muses and motivation but I can imagine it's harder now.
I voted for AK drama characters because that might be a little bit easier maybe. It would be just sad if all shippers stopped writing now. Seriously so many of you have lots of talent and great ideas, it would be such a big loss for the fandom. ;_;

Of course I can totally understand if you need some time away from all of this mess right now... I just know from my own bitter experience it will get better... someday.
Oddly after the 3rd heartbreak for me I feel kind of used to it. ^^;;

For me, my muses came from the idea that we don't really know what goes on behind the scenes between them and that, well, maybe they do make out backstage or have a secret apartment together where they meet to have sex. When Jin left KT, that drastically reduced/eliminated the amount of behind the scenes time the two had together. Now that he's married, it totally kills the (always very minuscule) possibility that Jin and Kame were secretly together. Akame's relation (beyond just friendship) has always been fantasy, but I think that in order for fantasy to work, there has to be a chance that it's real. There's no chance for Kame and married!Jin, so my ability to imagine the fantasy is gone.
