So, I guess We're hosting Thanksgiving this year. DH invited his parents AND my two grown nephews. And, there I was planning something easy from the crockpot because I thought it'd be a good week to finally paint Amber's room.

Wow, you've been busy!! You can come declutter and repaint my house next, ok :D

Seriously, though, great job. I wouldn't put remodeling work on hold just because there's a few extra people coming on Thanksgiving.... which, also, don't stress about food. There's always too much food on Thanksgiving ;)

You are so busy. I don't know how you do it!

I am so proud of you that you've been able to purge your belongings on your own! I make a living helping people do exactly that, and for most people it is extremely difficult to let go of things that have been around for years and that have sentimental value.

AND, you're remodeling. AND, keeping up with Flylady.

You must be Superwoman!

Don't worry about the sides. People will appreciate the variety. We have 21-22 people coming here for Thanksgiving. Everyone and their freaking MOTHER is in town this year so it's going to be big and we realized that the bird (turkey) just isn't going to cut it. We got a big bird but even with the fixings I think people would be rationing. We're throwing in a lasagna! So it's going to be all the normal gobble gobble day stuff with sis-in-law's lasanga on the side! And everyone thinks it's a fantastic idea thus far.

So I'd rock your cornish hens and pasta or beef or whatever you want on the sides! I think they'll love it either way! :)
