why can't I read older entries? I was playing catchup with my friends page and I can't get past April. This has never happened before. Is it LJ or the internet explorer app for Windows 8? I am frustrated and just want to know why can't I go past the 70 entry mark...

It's not that you can't go past the 70 entry mark, it's that after a certain "age," maybe two or three weeks, entries stop showing up on one's friend's view. I suspect it's preferable to the alternative of pre-dated entries and stickies showing up on my view for years, but it does have a downside.

For the record, it's been like that since I signed up in 2001--it's just a lot more visible now that people aren't posting here as much.
