Yunho and Jaejoong met each other eight years ago.
Yunho was currently leading in a race when in the midst of his adrenaline rush he got off track and therefore got lost in the middle of the competition. Thankfully, he saw a person sitting under the shade of a tree and asked if he knew where the right route was. The pretty (dare he say it?) man gave precise directions which led to Yunho’s championship.
Yunho then decided that if he met the pretty man with the huge doe eyes and full red lips (not that Yunho stared. No, he didn’t. Well at least that’s what he kept telling himself) again, he was going to thank him properly.
A week later, they saw each other again, though not in the way Yunho expected. Yunho was walking peacefully around the campus with his headphones on when he suddenly heard someone yell ‘ Watch out!!’ Of course, given that he was listening to music he had failed to heed the warning and thus, as a result, was sprawled on the ground with a slim man on top of him and a broken bike beside their prone forms.
Jaejoong had apologized profusely and despite Yunho’s annoyance, he found himself smiling and saying
“ I’ll forgive you if you go out and have coffee with me.”
Jaejoong blushed and mumbled “As long as you let me pay.”
And then the rest was history.

Present day
2:06pm
Jaejoong pouted as he waited for his boyfriend patiently. Yesterday, he had received a text message saying that they had to shoot a video for the charity event that their group of friends had organized. The location was of course their old university where all of them met each other.
He looked around the area, suddenly feeling nostalgic when he spotted Yunho dragging a bike behind him.
Jaejoong raised a brow, “ What’s that? Don’t tell me you rode that bike all the way here?”
Yunho rolled his eyes and laughed sarcastically, “ Haha. Funny, babe.”
Jaejoong smiled, unfazed. This was their usual routine, annoying each other and laughing it off eventually.
“No, of course not. I just thought, since we’re already here and those idiots who scheduled this activity in the first place aren’t here yet, we can enjoy ourselves and reminisce our time together.” Yunho suggested with a smile as he pulled Jaejoong closer
Jaejoong smiled up at him and nodded ,a faint color of pink dusting his cheek. Yunho unable to help himself because of his adorable baby, bent down and planted a kiss on Jae’s smooth forehead.
“ Come on then, let’s see if your bicycle riding skills are as rusty as they were before”
“Yah!”

2:32pm
The couple enjoyed their time together as they rode the bike around the campus. They took turns in steering the bike, Yunho first with Jaejoong sitting behind him, holding onto his waist tightly. Then just for fun, Jaejoong also maneuvered the bike with Yunho as the passenger. Of course knowing Jaejoong’s clumsy self, they fell down a couple of times but just laughed at themselves when they did.
They strolled along the place where they first met. They went to visit the library, a place they usually went to when they want a peaceful time with each other. They also visited the cafeteria where most of their dates took place. Of course, they also went to the café, which fortunately was still around, where they had their first ‘date’ .
3:08pm
As they both sipped the last of their coffees, Yunho received a text message from their friend
“Hey baby, Donghae texted me and said they’re already at the front gate.”
“Let’s go then.”
Jaejoong wiped the side of Yunho’s lips, which had crumbs of the cake they just ate, before they stood up and went to meet their friends.
3:17pm
Yunho rode the bike while Jaejoong was behind him, one arm holding his waist. Jaejoong furrowed his brows and wondered why they were going towards the eastern part of the campus when their friends are at the front gate.
3:23pm
Yunho finally stopped the bike in front of the entrance of their campus’ football stadium.
“Babe, why are we here? Didn’t you say Donghae said they’re at the front?” Jaejoong asked curiously as he looked around
“We’ll just wait for them here.” Yunho answered as he grabbed Jaejoong’s hand and intertwined their fingers
They slowly entered the stadium with Yunho leading the way and Jaejoong gasped as he saw a white grand piano placed in the middle of the field with a platform decorated with different flowers and balloons beside the instrument.
He briefly wondered if that was a part of the video they were going to shoot.
But then to his surprise, Park Yoochun, a world renowned pianist and Kim Junsu, a famous singer , two of his favorite musicians, came out from the back (where the players come out before the game) and took their positions. Yoochun sat in front of the piano while Junsu stood on top of the platform, a microphone in hand.
Yoochun then started to play a familiar tune, Alicia Key’s ‘If I ain’t got you’, one of the couple’s favorite songs, and Junsu started singing, complete with his mispronounced English and all.
Jaejoong wanted to cry right there and then, since his favorite artists are standing in front of him singing in person, but mostly because he had an inkling as to what was about to happen.
After the first chorus, he turned his head to look at Yunho and smiled at him with glassy eyes. His boyfriend smiled back at him and released his grip from Jaejoong’s hand. He then held the slim one’s shoulders and steered him to the left where he once again gasped as he saw their friends smiling at him holding a white cardboard each; forming an arrow and pointing at somewhere else where he should look.
3:28pm
Taking a deep breath to calm himself, he turned and looked up at the digital scoreboard where a flat screen was located and to his utter surprise and happiness he read the words that made his tears finally fall.
‘WILL YOU MARRY ME?’
He turned around to look at his boyfriend but said man was already on his knees, holding out a ring to him
Jaejoong let out a laugh amidst his tears
“I---Oh my God. I didn’t--“
His hands were shaking and tears of happiness continued to fall from his eyes. He didn’t know what to do first. He wanted to hug and kiss Yunho. He wanted to scream out his happiness. He-
“Say yes!”
He heard a faint yell from where their friends were. It was probably Heechul.
Right, he had to answer first.
“Yes!”
Yunho then put the ring on Jaejoong’s left ring finger. After doing so, he stood up to hug Jaejoong as the latter covered his red face stained with happy tears.
Jaejoong sobbed, trying to hide his face, and then wrapped his arms around Yunho. Still speechless and overwhelmed.
Suddenly everyone was around them, saying their congratulations and cheering happily. Then Jaejoong found himself hugging their friends while Yunho did the same.
“ Congratulations Jae-ah!” Heechul exclaimed as he hugged his dear friend, his eyes also teary
“Thank you. I’m so happy!” Jaejoong answered, his voice wet yet his eyes so bright
“I know. You deserve it. You both do.”
Then he was back in Yunho’s arms, the two stared at each other for a while before Yunho bent down and claimed his now fiance’s lips.
As they kissed, their friends brought out their party poppers and suddenly the couple was showered with colorful confetti and streamers. They broke apart when they heard the loud sound and laughed with their friends.

Yunho and Jaejoong are finally engaged. <3
Life was about to get a lot happier.

To be honest, I think my writing skills are getting rusty, so i'm not really sure about this. I do hope you guys leave comments though..
