tears [part 5 of ?]
It’s a nice Saturday morning and kyuhyun and Leeteuk were having a computer game battle, they’ve been having 10 rounds of punching and kicking each computer character when ryeowook came in and call them to have their breakfast. Ryeowook being so curious on what they are doing peek on kyuhyun’s shoulder and saw the thing on screen, he got so engross in watching that he didn’t notice how he cheer for leeteuk’s character to kick and punch kyuhyun. Kyuhyun got a bit pissed by ryeowook’s tone and the fact that he’s near defeat didn’t help much he took the game controller on leeteuk’s hand and throw it to ryeowook signaling the guy to continue the game. Ryeowook gulped and started inspecting the thing on his hand.
“let’s have a deal wookie, if I win I’ll give you a big watermelon but if you lose you’ll have to go to the school alone, at night.” Kyuhyun knows how scared of the dark and being alone ryeowook is and he also knows how ryeowook is a sucker for watermelon so he smirk as he eyed the guy intently pushing him to fall on his plan.
Hearing the name of his favorite food ryeowook almost jumped out and pushed on the controller but as he hears the other condition it seemed that his courage fades away. He looks at Leeteuk and sees a face full of worry and warming. He looks at the other people in the room and sees the same worried face. He turns his look to kyuhyun and saw a very irritating smirk. Sungmin then came in to the room, yawning. He run towards the crowd and asked what’s going on. Eunhyuk narrate everything and sungmin finds it entertaining. He told kyuhyun to do the deal with him and kyuhyun smirk; he knows how sungmin fails in this kind of things. He nodded immediately and they started the game. Moments after the clock starts ticking sungmin is flopping on the floor with regrets, he loses to kyuhyun which is so much expected by everyone.
“so hyung, you have to go to school tonight. It’s our deal.” Kyuhyun smirked and throw the ontroller to wookie again. “now wookie? It’s your turn, or you’re telling that you’re being coward?” kyuhyun mock ryeowook and started to pissed him. Ryeowook being a cool guy and having so long temper didn’t give so much attention to the mocking. “I’ll give you a very big and sweet watermel..” -“I’ll DO IT!” before kyuhyun could finished his statement ryeowook almost drool at the description kyuhyun is telling. And as the whole gang expect kyuhyun wins in just a few seconds, without even breaking a sweat. “now let’s have our breakfast because later our dear wookie and sungminnie hyung will have a very long night exploring the corridor of our dear haunted school.” Kyuhyun stormed out of the room leaving the others with worried and scared faces. And they learn something very important ‘don’t ever laugh at the maknae especially when he’s losing against his old Leeteuk hyung.’

The whole day passed normally among the members except for ryeowook who’s been thinking of how he could just escape the deal he promise earlier. Sungmin, sensing the worry in ryeowook’s face taps the guy’s shoulder and told him to stop worrying since they are together when they went in the school which makes ryeowook’s heart beat faster and face gets redder.
That night after having their dinner the rest of the gang get the things ready for the two challengers. They give the two the video cam they’ll use to record everything they would witness while walking the dark corridors; they give the flashlights and some food-if ever they get hungry while walking. The two get on their feet’s and walk to the door of the campus turning the flashlights and the video cam on. Sungmin hold ryeowook’s hand and told the guy to tighten his hold to avoid loosing each other while walking. Ryeowook do as told and breathe in deeply as they took their first step inside. Unknown to them, the whole group really planned the said event to make ryeowook realize his real feeling for sungmin since everyone could notice it except the two, and know sungmin’s real feeling toward the other guy since he’s giving so much special treatment and attention.
“kyuhyun, I didn’t know that you’re a good actor.” Heechul smack kyuhyun’s head as the two figures vanished in the dark. “huh! Of course I am good at everything, you could even ask yesung hyung.” Kyuhyjn boasted and wrapped his arms around yesung’s waist.
“did you set everything properly?” eunhyuk asked. “everything is in its proper place hyung.” Kibum answered smirking. “all we have to do is to wait.” Leeteuk sighed, still worried about the two.

Ryeowook is in the verge of crying as he could feel the weird cold breeze against his spine, if not for sungmin’s hand holding his he might collapse on the floor and cry like a baby. God knows how scared ryeowook is when it comes to ghosts and dark places. He hated it as much as sungmin hates things that are not pink. He tighten his hold on sungmin’s hand as they enter a room, he could see floating candles and white curtains flowing with the wind, he wanted to run out but he is as scared as hell, and sungmin is not letting him go.
“sung-sungmi-nhyung~” ryeowook said with and invisible lump forming on his throat. “what is it wookie?”-“the-re the candle is floating.” Ryeowook grumbled, pointing at the floating candle. Sungmin chuckled and face ryeowook. “wookie, don’t be scared, it’s just kyuhyun’s trick to scare you. There’s no such thing as ghost and if there is, im here. I’ll protect you.” Ryeowook blush as he hears those words coming out from sungmin’s lips. He doesn’t know but he keeps hoping that somehow, sungmin likes him more than a family, more than brother and more than friends. In that moment he forgot about the ghosts, he just indulge in the idea that they could be just like heechul and hangeng. He was snapped back to reality when they hear a loud scream, he wasn’t able to control his fear when he looks behind and saw a girl floating in the air, coverd with lots of blood and scary looking eyes obviously eyeing him. Sungmin tried to stop him but his adrenalin took over and make him run very fasts and stepped on his lose shoe lace and stumbled on the floor. He hit his head on a corner of a small furniture standing on the wide corridor. As he was about to faint he saw sungmin run towards him with arms spread widely, ready to catch him on his fall. He looks so scared and worried. Ryeowook hadn’t seen those expressions on sungmin’s face before and it makes him think if sungmin is also scared of the ghost then his consciousness left him.

The next thing he knew he was laying on his bed comfortably with Leeteuk by his side holding his hands. He hear some scolding outside, it’s sungmin’s voice he could barely recognize it. He tried to stand up and in time sungmin went in his room. Leeteuk press his palm as a sign that he’s going to leave. Ryeowook nodded and give him a faint smile. Sungmin walk to him and hugged him tight before he could say anything. He hugs him back and smiles silently as he could feel safety and comfort in the touch.
“what happened hyung?” ryeowook asked as sungmin let go. “you hit your head on the table and fainted.” Sungmin explained. “wookie, tell me, why are you so scared of ghosts?” sungmin questioned ryeowook. “it’s because… I don’t really know hyung. Im scared because they might take people who are important to me and I don’t want that to happen.” Ryeowook cried as he answered. Sungmin cupped his faced and dried his wet cheeks with his thumb. “hussshhh~ don’t cry. I won’t let that happen.” Sungmin coos him. When ryeowook gets relaxed he remembered sungmin’s expression earlier so he asked “hyung, are you scares of ghosts too? I saw your scared expression earlier when the floating woman is running after me.”
“for your information, that floating girl is just a hologram kyuhyun created to scared you. And im not scared of ghosts.”-“then why do you look so scared?” silence fills the room then sungmin breathes in. “it’s because im scared to lose you.” Ryeowook’s eyes bugged out. “im scared when you bumped your head on the table and saw blood coming from it. Im scared that im going to lose you.” Sungmin bows as tears escape from his eyes. The sight of sungmin crying breaks ryeowook’s heart into pieces. Knowing how he feels for sungmin, he breathes out to get the other guy’s attention. “you won’t lose me.” Then ryeowook cupped sungmin’s face and leans their foreheads. Sungmin saw the beautiful face of ryeowook and can’t control himself anymore. He grabs him and presses his lips against the other. Ryeowook happily complied with the kiss since he knows that he do love this guy. He shut his eyes tightly and savors the burning passion between them. After moments o ravishing each others mouth they both let go.
With their redden face and fast beating heart they look at each other and utter the words they yearn for. Then with another press of the lips they end the conversation. Sungmin smiled and peck ryeowook on the lips as he let go of their embrace and went out of the room to give the guy some rest.
