Whats the deal?

My work requires me to travel every now and then. I frequently travel to Raleigh, Atlanta, Milwaukee, Chicago and the San Francisco Bay area. Supposedly, most people are born being able to hear all the different sounds of all spoken languages, but lose the ability after a few years of life as their brains identify what is necessary to communicate in their particular surroundings. If you are one of the lucky few who still has the ability to hear and mimic a wider spectrum of sounds, consider yourself gifted.
