It sucks but jobs make it so you're too fucking tired to do anything.

I am a cashier at a grocery store and even though I don't really do anything, being on my feet all day makes me so tired that I just come home and pass out.

Oh man, I know... Peole are under the impression that this kind of work is easy and people are dumb to feel exhausted after doing it. What they don't understand is that the work is so mind-numbingly monotonous and physically exhausting due to being on your feet, applying the same amount of constant pressure since you are on in one spot, for upwards of eight hours a day.

I work in the deli now, though I used to be a chaiser for the same grocery chain. The deli is fucking stressful and busy as hell and I hate my managers and have already had one fight with my assistant manager.

I hate this kind of shitty hourly retail work. :(

I hate it too, but it's so easy to obtain that when you know it won't be a career choice (like you're just working during school, or you're going to move soon, etc etc) it becomes really hard to try to get anything else.

I can't fucking wait til I get to leave this dumb place!!! Everyone who shops at my store is rich and gives me the stink face for the stupidest shit (packing bags heavier than they like, putting bananas with any other object, not using paper, etc).
