Title: After the Dust Settles Chapter 15: All I Want for Christmas...
Pairing: Siwon/Hangeng
Rating: G (complete and utter fluff I tell you)
Length: 2081 words
Summary: Next in the "After the Dust Settles" Series. This takes place at the same time as Number 13: "Anything for You (She Made Me Do It)". Sihan babysits, and Hangeng finally breaks out the lingerie he bought while shopping with Heechul.

Hangeng set the last of the just washed dishes in the drainer next to the sink, wiping his hands on the dish towel before hanging it back on it's hook. He was more than tired, and very thankful to finally have everything done, cleaned up and put away. He and Siwon had volunteered to watch Donghae's boys, and the day had been full of laughter and fun. They'd let Max put a few more ornaments on the tree (which resulted in him knocking twice as many off), and Siwon had even hoisted the boy up to let him put the star on the very top of the tree, though with the way the boy had been wriggling Hangeng had been afraid Siwon was going to drop him. After that had come cookie baking and then cookie decorating, and how icing and sprinkles got onto the ceiling Hangeng would never know. He was pretty sure Siwon was having just as much fun as Max though. He knew Siwon's life had been rigidly structured, all work and no fun, and he was pretty sure this was the first time Siwon actually got to sit back and relax and have fun. Hangeng had run them out of the kitchen after the last of the cookies were decorated, bundled them both up and sent them outside to play in the snow as even more was falling down.

He'd spent some quiet time with baby Jay then, and after that he'd wandered off to clean the kitchen before Max and his newest cohort in crime Siwon came back in to mess it up again. The boys didn't come back in until the front lawn was decorated with a family of snowmen and snowwomen. Both were so cold their lips were nearly blue, and Hangeng had made them both cups of hot cocoa with marshmallows on top to warm them back up. He'd hung their snow covered clothes up in the guest bathroom to drip dry then, leaving Siwon and Max alone in the living room to play with blocks as he headed back into the kitchen. By the time Hangeng returned, after the dishes were done and dried and put away, the table wiped clean and the cookies tucked neatly into containers, the blocks had been put away and all three of the boys, baby Jay included, were sound asleep in the recliner. Siwon had the baby resting on his chest, one arm wrapped protectively around him. The other strong arm was looped around Max's form curled up at his side, the boy's head resting lightly near Siwon's ribs.

Hangeng was half tempted to go and get his camera just to capture that particular moment in time, but he couldn't remember where it put it last and he figured by the time he found it the moment would have passed. Glancing to the clock he saw it was already well past the boys' bed time, so he headed on into the room, reaching to take hold of baby Jay, carefully plucking him from Siwon's grasp to cradle him in his own arms. He nudged Max lightly, smiling when the boy opened his eyes.

"C'mon. It's bed time."

Max was too tired to protest, and as much as he liked his uncle Siwon, all those muscles didn't exactly make for a comfy pillow, at least not for a little kid. He shifted away from Siwon, both hands held out to Hangeng instead. Hangeng carefully balanced Jay in one arm, leaning to loop his other arm around Max, grunting lightly as he hefted him up. The boy wrapped his arms around Hangeng as best he could, looping his legs around him as well before letting his head drop down to rest on Hangeng's shoulder.

Hangeng carried the children into the guest room, carefully lowering Max down into the bed before moving over to tuck Jay into bed in his playpen. He moved back to Max then, tucking him in as well even though he'd already fallen back asleep, sprawled haphazardly over the bed just like how his father always slept. Hangeng returned to the living room after that, leaning over the recliner to nudge Siwon lightly. Siwon's eyes were slow to open at first, until he realized he couldn't feel the weight of the children resting against him any longer. His eyes opened wide then, looking around almost franticly for the children. Max wondering off wouldn't be quite a big deal, but if he'd lost the baby he'd certainly be in big trouble. Hangeng snickered, shaking his head.

"I put them to bed, Siwon, it's okay." He laughed once more, seeing the other man sigh with relief, a hand coming up to rest over his heart. "And you need to take a shower. You know you still have red and green icing in your hair from earlier."

Siwon blinked, lifting a hand up to feel his hair, and he did indeed feel the crustiness of dried icing. He pouted slightly then, looking to Hangeng. "You let me run around with icing in my hair all day!?"

Hangeng just shrugged, a soft smirk playing upon his lips. "It looked festive. Go on and shower. You look like you need to go to bed too."

"You just wait. I'll get you back." He pushed himself up from the recliner though, doing as he was told and heading into the master bedroom he now shared with Hangeng, then into the attached bathroom, glancing at his reflection in the mirror. Not only did he have red and green icing in his hair (and a few sprinkles too), some was smeared just above his eyebrow, and some just below his chin as well. He muttered to himself briefly as he stripped out of his clothes, already plotting his revenge on Hangeng as he stepped into the shower.

Hangeng finished tidying up, shutting the lights off in the rest of the house before heading into the bedroom as well. He was more than exhausted, and he wasn't even the one to chase Max around this time. He'd just opened the top dresser drawer and was just about to reach inside to grab some clean pajamas when he noticed the bag from the lingerie shop setting next to the dresser, left there and unopened since he'd returned from shopping with Heechul weeks ago. He debated, hand hovering over a set of nice and comfy (but not so sexy) flannel pajamas. He thought he might as well give it a try, there was no point in just letting the bag set there for who knows how long, but then again he thought it was a little inappropriate to be doing such a thing with children sleeping just a few doors down. Then again, it was only pajamas, right? Just because he happened to be thinking of putting a silken teddy on didn't necessarily mean wild, loud sex would follow. They were both tired after all, and just because there were children there didn't mean he had to cover himself up like a prude. He bit his lip as he slid the drawer shut, moving over to grab the bag that had previously been abandoned. With one glance back to the bathroom door, he could still hear the shower running, he hurriedly stripped himself of his clothes, grabbing the brown teddy from the bag. It took him a while to figure out which was the back and which was the front, even longer to get it on and get his arms through the thin spaghetti straps without getting tangled up. He had to admit though, once he had it on and the silken material spilled down over the skin of his torso and abdomen, he thought it felt rather nice. While he still didn't think he'd ever fancy wearing anything lacy or frilly like Heechul... maybe this wasn't so bad. He was half tempted to put the robe on too, just to see how it would feel, but he didn't see the point considering he'd just be getting in bed. Perhaps in the morning he'd wear it while making breakfast.

He was just sliding into bed when the bathroom door opened, steam billowing out into the room as Siwon stepped out, nothing more than a towel looped around his waist. Both men stopped where they were, Siwon standing in the door way with an extra towel held to his head, having stopped in the process of drying his hair. Hangeng had both hands and one knee in bed, the other foot resting on the floor. As many times as he'd seen Siwon naked, both before the breakup and now, he still hadn't been able to get over just how striking the man's muscled physique was, especially when he was wet like he was then. Siwon was equally stunned by seeing his lover in a woman's teddy, the thin strap hanging off of one shoulder loosely and baring even more skin. He couldn't help the smirk that slid over his lips, beginning to run the towel over his hair once more.

"I was wondering when you were going to put that on."

"I just... wait... you looked in the bag!?" Hangeng couldn't help the flush that crept over his face upon realizing that Siwon had already seen the lingerie, and who knows how long ago it was that he'd been peeking.

"Oh come on. You told me you went shopping with Heechul and then that bag shows up. I really doubted it was a Christmas gift for your mother." Siwon finished drying his hair then, moving the towel behind him to dry his back.

"So... you don't mind?" Hangeng lifted his other leg up into the bed then before turning himself about so he could sit, reaching around behind him to reposition the pillows on the bed. Siwon shrugged, moving the towel away from his body and draping it over the door knob so it could dry.

"So long as your comfortable, what does it matter?"

"Heechul said you'd think it was sexy."

"Since when do you take fashion advice from Heechul? You don't have to wear lacy things to be sexy, Hannie. Just so long as you are comfortable, that's what makes you sexy." He tugged the towel from around his waist just moments before he slid into bed, pulling the blankets up around him. Hangeng couldn't help but to smile, scooting on into the bed before lying down, curling himself up against Siwon. One arm looped about his waist, his head coming to rest lightly on Siwon's chest. Siwon looped his arm around him, fingers splaying lightly on Hangeng's back. Even Siwon had to admit he liked the feel of the material, the way it felt cool even as the warmth of Hangeng's skin began to seep through. He found himself tracing small circles in the material, letting his hand wander back and forth over Hangeng's covered skin.

Hangeng smiled, even as his eyes began to drift shut. Part of him wanted so desperately to stay up and play, a naked and wet Siwon was a hard thing to resist. He was so tired though, he knew Siwon was as well. He also knew that Max would be up at the crack of dawn, and he didn't even know if Jay was to the point of sleeping all the way through the night yet. Hangeng was so tired, and he knew he'd be even more tired in the morning, but he also knew it'd be well worth it. There would be more snow angels to make in the morning, banana pancakes with maple syrup, perhaps a walk to the park in the snow. He couldn't help the smile that spread over his face at the thought, couldn't help but to think that at that very moment in time, even though the children were borrowed, he couldn't help but to think that his life was absolutely complete at that moment in time, absolutely perfect. It didn't matter that he had to go through hell to get there, he was absolutely convinced it was well worth it, and he knew for certain he'd do it a thousand times over again, just to wind up curled in Siwon's arms again, just like he was now.

His smile widened even further, and he tilted his head slightly to press a tender kiss to the skin of Siwon's chest, delighting in the way the man's grip on him tightened in return.
