What a day!

I was at the Starbuck's drive up picking up the boss' coffee.  It makes her happy and a happy boss makes for an easier workplace.  The car in front of mine had a '09 3 Day Walker sticker on it...so I told the nice barista to charge me for her coffee.  And then, damn it all, I started to get misty eyed again.  I never know when that is ( Read more... )

Oh, this is going to be tough.  But I can't avoid it anymore.  I am heading out the door.because it is time to go back to work.  *sigh*

Upside is that I do get to take with me a sweet present that will sit in my office and make me smile every time I look at it.

I finally got around to posting my new tattoo as one of my new icons. 
We never got around to getting a picture with it and my friend's scar.  That will have to be the next time I drag her butt up to Seattle.

The past few days might need to cover more than one post simply because I know I will forget to mention something.

First and foremost?   I was reminded over and over just what awesome friends I have.  Just when I think that they have offered up all they can...they give more.

This is one of the scariest things I have ever seen...

Yes, I know it has been awhile...stupid work.
But now my best friend of far too long is here and things are better. 
A big hug to all my friends here in Seattle that are making her feel so welcome.  She is finding out that the dark side does indeed have cookies.  But what is she going to tell her family about where she visited??

I have stories AND pictures.  I will get to them...at some point.

I should be healing right now.  But sadly, my tattoo artist had to reschedule and I will be getting it this Weds. As much as I look forward to the day off Friday...Weds is the day that I am really looking forward to!!
