I am excited -- I snuck out of work 15 minutes early and missed all the rush hour traffic :) Ok, I didn't really "sneak out" -- I actually got a lot of work done today, in spite of taking an extra long lunch to go and eat Vietnamese food (boo yah ULA!!!!! haha, just kidding.) in Midtown with Mark. yay birthdays!! boo that i can't be there to celebrate. i dont know what i would do w/o my laptop. i've become dependent. but i also have a mac, which is far superior to a pc :) but if you dont need and/or use them a lot, then they're not that great.
and on the cute random people note, i was at this earth day festival on sunday and there was a dad walking w/his daughter (she was around 6 or 7). she stepped over a puddle, but she was wearing rain boots so her dad says 'go ahead, stomp in that puddle. you're wearing the right shoes for it'. so she jumped in the puddle and it was very cute.
i didn't know your mom is going to be a dentist! there are so many things i dont know about your family (but atleast i know your dad is real - - haha, remember that! in high school when we used to think your dad didn't exist cause we never saw him. how silly) ok this is getting long...

Awww! Julia, that's so nice of you. Well, don't tell the MPAA but I actually have all the episodes from season 1 and 2 on my computer already. But then I have to watch them on the computer, and there's no extra scenes. By the way, the AD dvd is the only dvd I've ever seen where the deleted scenes are actually entertaining!

And Ula, my mom is in school to become a dental hygienist actually. In AL you can't open up your own practice if you're not a dentist, but in other states you can. It's a good alternative, because in my experience the hygienists do all the work and then we pay a dentist to come in, glance at your teeth, and say "ok just floss more. and... that's $300 for my time." She went back to school after we were born (she was one year away from finishing college before she left Vietnam) but I think she felt guilty for not being there, so she picked it up again last year. We are all proud of her. She called me the other day to say she was named Most Outstanding Student of her class, and she was soooooooo excited.

yay!! that's awesome. my mom was actually a dental assistant for awhile so i know about the hygienist/dentist craziness. that's why my mom didn't go on though cause i dont think she wanted to go to dental school. that is super exciting.
i've been watching AD but i think i need to watch the 1st season all in a row cause everyone says it's the best show but i only find it mildly amusing.
