You changed when you got to Ireland, I'm sure. It makes sense that you'd change when you leave, too. But it doesn't make your moments there any less special, just different.

It's like when you get home. Things won't be the same but you'll find your niche again and make new Ottawa memories, sort of thing.

I hope things won't be the same! My biggest fear in returning home is that I will fall back on old habits and revert back... but being on the island has made me realize there are certain things that have changed that I really couldn't revert if I tried. I've grown permanently. Yay!
