Today is my step-brother's birthday, so we're having a bunch of people over. I didn't realize that meant seeing my sister again, but. Yeah.

Long story short, she talked to me alone in my room. She told me she still loves me, but she's not going to change her mind. She said that we won't talk about it again, and everything will be fine, but if I end

It makes me really sad seeing all these entries about how your sister feels about someone being gay, especially if it was someone in her immediate family. I hope with time she'll grow to change her mind. If she did have a gay child, I hope she knows that as a parent she should love him/her with all her heart and it should be the same for other family members.

Stay strong and don't let her get to you that much. I know it's hard to think that someone as close as your sister could be so close-minded about something like that, but your life is yours to live and I hope you don't have to seek approval from her if you were to end up with a girl.
