i have new livejournal friends for the first time in forever! hello twats!
(as in twatlight, for you old friends. i'm not just being a bitch)
i tried to put in a cut but it's not working properly :(
Did I just get sidetracked or what? I love how no one has any idea how long a delay between starting and finishing my LJ entries can occur. I was telling zach about my tok project, i figured him going to ~cornell and all might want to stand up for the (poison) ivy league.
soo victoria picked me up almost an hour before the movie started but it was just as well because there was a HUGE line for some reason. of course, i don't often go to the movies at noon on fridays, so it could be like this everytime for all i know. i wasn't carded buying an R-rated for the first time! muy excitante, even though everyone is like, pssh they don't care, but other times it's been a slight issue.
slumdog millionaire was reeeeeealllly good. completely engrossing. in other news, i really really like hunter, haha. i must remember to thank maya again for being a creep and facilitating this relationship. we're still really awkward when we try to kiss though. of the like, four times, only one has been really good. but still not completely awkwardness-free.
theory of knowledge internal assessments/oral are this week. i'm working with layne, our topic being about ethics in college admissions, like affirmative action and giving favor to legacies, athletes and the like. i hope we get to present to a junior class. actually, i don't really care, i just don't want freshman. and if we get sophomores, i ohpe one of the ones i know is in the class. (all ib classes cease for the morning of tok orals as the underclassmen become our audience and the teachers grade us.) then we'll have the pinning ceremony that afternoon. OH YEAH AND THATS ALL THIS FRIDAY< THE DAY I WAS SUPPOSED TO GO VISIT AUBURN BUT CAN'T NOW :(
I don't know if i mentioned this in my last post or not, but I got my official scholarship offer from auburn this week. won't be sending it in (to accpet or reject it ) for a while, until i hear from all my other schools and all, but still. oh wow, only like two weeks until i find out if i got into umiami or not. find out from UF sometime in feb too. wustl still hasn't processed my teacher eval but iwinski told me she sent it. ucf probably still hasn't gotten my transcript because someone fucked something up but i really don't want to bother sending it again. but because i'm probably going to go visit the weekend i was supposed to visit auburn, my mother won't let me forget.
p.s. my house is a toasty 62 degrees as of late.
p.p.s. fuck you, fall out boy, for only having two florida dates and one being miami (out of the question) and the other being on a WEDNESDAY. i love you so much and this is what you do to me?! also, the plush toys are gross looking.

oh also, i really want to go to both the upcoming new found glory tour and the alt press sponsored one with hit the lights and family force 5!!
