daniel! i am in houston, TX with the Teach for America program. i will be teaching elementary school this fall, but this summer is a whole heap of training.
Teaching English on a small island off the coast of Japan (elementary and junior high). Playing taiko drums and video games. I'm moving to Pittsburg when my one year contract finishes this July.
Is it really hot in Texas? If there's ever any record breaking temperatures will you please try to cook an egg in the sunlight for me. Or at least try to burn things with a magnifying glass.
Elementary school kids have consciences, which is a good thing. I gaurentee at least a 50% enjoyment ratio. Once you're done with the program doesn't the president give you like a million dollars and let you teach where ever you want or something?
